uk-rich Posted September 7, 2006 Share Posted September 7, 2006 i had the hks cam gears on the car, shock, horror just fitted some new jun cam gears and P.E. timing belt+new tensioner+new roller pivot arm some pics of the old, some of the new not very "bling" but they are meant to be very good, plus they are not seen anyway the hks ones will be available on flee bay later Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There were some reports of wear on the early HKS cam gears when running big power. Saying this mine have been on my car for over 4 years now and there is no excessive wear, just the anodising had worn where the belt had been. HKS now do new cam gears which are made from harder wearing material. I supplied Rich with the Jun pulley's, if anyone else wants a set give me a shout.
