terribleturner
I know Sabrina would love for us to go to this. Has anyone been to a rally before?? Is it you just see the cars go past once and only once in a day?? With F1 your gonna see them go past and go past again all day, but with Rally they fly past you once and then that's your lot of that driver for the day. Am i wrong?? With careful planning you should be able to get to a few stages during a day and see some good action, when the rac used to come up north we used to go to the chatsworth house and donnington park stages on the sunday

vvteye
I'm away until Saturday evening... may join up with you guys if the plans gain any clarity... IMHO Wales Rally over 3 days is not a place for street racers, even car parks which are in forest areas are usually gravelled areas and you can imagine how the ford escort chavs drive in and out of them! The main site to get info is... http://www.walesrallygb.com/tickets/tickets1.php This gives a picture of the stages where they are and on what days. http://msaevents.datagate.net.uk/wrgb/artman/uploads/wrgb_overall.pdf Finally, It's not cheap! Tickets for Wales Rally GB go on sale on 2nd June. To avoid disappointment we would encourage you to buy your tickets as early as possible, and in advance of the event. All tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and are subject to availability. A single person supplement of £5 will apply to all tickets bought in advance where one spectator is travelling alone in a car. Swansea Service Park Adult Price £5 Child price £2.50 Cardiff Stage at the Millennium Stadium Per prices as shown above but strictly subject to availability Car Parks While the numbers of each different type of pass and ticket are limited, spectators who buy a Day Pass or the World Rally Pass can choose their own itinerary including the stages they wish to visit and the car parks they want to use. Availability at any car park will be on a first come first served basis and is not guaranteed. To avoid disappointment, you should arrive at your chosen car park in plenty of time. The Rally Planner will provide car park opening hours. Spectators buying on the day stage passes will have to use a specific car park at each of these stages. The Millennium Stadium The Stadium is well sign-posted from the M4 and surrounding routes, with electronic signs advising which junction to exit the motorway. There is no car parking allocated for spectators who purchase tickets for the Millennium Stadium, spectators should use the city centre car parks where they will be required to pay for parking and space is not guaranteed. Swansea Service Park Swansea Service Park is situated off Junction 46 of the M4. Traveling either from the South or North, take Junction 46 off the M4, and approach the roundabout. Turn left here, and head down the hill. When you arrive at the next roundabout, turn left again and follow the signs to the service park. Public transport The majority of stages are located in the forest, therefore access by public transport is not feasible. There are main transport links to Cardiff including trains and buses. There are buses that operate between Swansea Quadrant bus station and Swansea Service Park.
