How much for my '95 UK supe?

131k miles is NOTHING on a stock engine. This is a TOYOTA not a FORD... and if its been well serviced as it appears, it should be a great runner for that cash.

Even our shitbox 1.6 Carina E which is 13 years old and on a 1.6 has nearly 170k miles and that still starts first time and drives fine!

I thought so too but the prices of cars has really dropped out of bed at the moment. I agree my price was low but tbh he would have to wait a long time to get 8K for it!

Id pay 8K for it!:)

The Uk's will always fetch more simply due to the insurance, for a young-un it can be almost a 1K saving, plus you can HPI the UK supe and be sure of its history! And this has below average miles so is a bargain at 8K!

10-12K depending on condition and history. and how well dressed you are :)

its a BLACK, UK. AUTO brings the price down, had it been a 6sp manual, then easily 11-14K.

14K for 6 speed, you could buy a low mileage mint 6 speed single for that kind of money...well maybe be a tad more, i know where my money would go.

IMHO if you wait as long as it takes then 10k is a maybe, quick sale then 8-9k.

Just the way the market is, it is a rare car and holds it's value very well for the enthusiasts.

Not everyone wants endless time in the garage and a repair bill and insurance a mile high... think about it.

Not really mate TBH i am just sitting back and trying to learn for a while. The problem is i spose is being a trader i value cars at trade value.

I was told the other day j-spec were better by a forum member. I listened against better judgment and took his views on board. I believe the Uk cars have bigger brakes and turbo's. but apparently cant handle as much power due to being ceramic ?

TBH i would rather have a Uk car due to cheaper insurance and knowing more about the cars history.

I rest my case.....
