I've got a lot of time and respect for Class One, he is a valuable member of the club and has always come across as very willing to help other members, always up for a bit of banter and his posts are always well considered. Supra-lover obviously thinks he's the bees-knees (who knows, maybe he is, I've never seen a bee up-close ) and occasionally likes to mouth off about stuff from time ot time. I don't get chance to eead every single post on this forum but sometimes he's amde me laugh - but reading the PS3 thread I thought that he was out of order and I wasn't surprised whren he got banned. That said I'd like to think that he'd be interested in meeting you half way in order to resolve this whole situation as it's obvious that you've gone out of your way to try and do just that. You're a honorable man and have a lot of my respect - after reading your post Doug I doubt there is anyone here that woudn't stand by you. You're a credit to the club and a credit to yourself. I hope Supra-lover can sort out his differences with you and we can all get along nicely. Either that or I'll chip in towards his £10 (just kidding Supra-lover ) I've said it before - mods do a difficult job (I wouldn't want to be one) and they do it for the benefit of the rest of us lot. You can't (ever!) please all of the people all of the time, but we should at least recognise that they do what they do with that impossible aim in mind. When I came back from Trax next day, I was surprised to see he was banned for the day. The discussion about the PS3 was quite a good one I must say. But I suppose some people who don't know how these games are actually made don't know what they actually see. Most things what these companies like Sony show is all a marketing gimmick and eye candy after all. They want to draw as much attention as possible, even if it's not proper in game footage... I think Doug was in a difficult position there, only mod online and not too much experience... maybe it was a bit rash, but things happen, thats life! At least he had the balls to go through with it, I'm sure it wasnt an easy decision... Good to see SL back online!
