Nic
Also depends on type of driving, around town you'll be lucky to get to the end of the high street on a tenner
black cat
floored 10miles:)
Guest supratuning
i am mainly interested in NA supra if it is around 50 its the same as my 1.1 punto i will be getting one.
D3xt3r
Sorry but if you are comparing a supra to your 1.1 Punto I think it isnt really a car for you
Nic
There will be a big difference between 3.0L mpg and 1.1L mpg. Budget on putting at least twice as much fuel in for day to day driving and you'll be somewhere close
Pete
I got about 40 miles the other night with a round trip to Chris. I couldn't believe a tenner only went 40 miles!

Guest supratuning
are you telling me you cant do 50 miles for ten pounds of petrol in a supra because thats what i get with my punto
Bob
Different size engines use different amounts of petrol. A car with an engine nearly 3 times that of your punto and giving out around 40x the power is not going to have the same fuel consumption as a shopping trolley. michael
Your Punto must be screwed, my old 1.1 used to do close to 400 miles on £36, my current 1.2 16v does about the same but the price of fuel has gone up. It's something like 45mpg vs ~20mpg in my case
Guest supratuning
i have driven a skyline 2.5 NA and thats gives around 50 miles for a tenner
robert_gray
I generaly manage to get about 20mpg out of my TT. Most of what I do is country driving so on and of the gas all the time and foot to the floor to get past all the tractor on small bit of straight. It end up being about 40-50 on a tenner
tbourner
Should get 50 miles from a tenner in either an NA or TT supe. A 1.1 should be getting more like 120 miles to a tenner.
Tricky-Ricky
Yeah if your only getting 50-55 a gallon out of a Punto then its fecked! roughly speaking thats around 25 to a gallon:shock: i get 20 out of my modded TT.
Guest mk47
you cant compare a punto to a supra!!
michael
you cant compare a punto to a supra!! You can compare anything to anything
ChrisSZ
I usually get around 23mpg from my N/A. IU dunno what that works out per £10 but a full tank is usually good for 250-300 miles. Quite frankly though, if mpg is a concern I'd strongly suggest getting something a little tamer! It's very much a case of if you have to ask then you can't afford it :)
Robbo
If you are worried about fuel costs then you should'nt buy such a thirsty car. Stick to a Punto or a Corsa
Stonkin
come on guys and gals, the guy is only asking what miles can be had for a tenner, nothing wrong with that. I asked a similar question before i got mine, not because i couldnt afford it, i was just interested to compare it to the car i had at the time. monkey3
or a hair dryer Seriously though, you will be shocked at the difference that the extra 2 litres will make. I went from a 1.8 3-series beema (sorry guys) and they are supposed to be juicy. I was shocked when I filled up (£60 ish) and then 180 - 200 miles later the light came on

I feel like i live at the petrol station!!
