lovatt
got my BlueTone Dial Kit from James Arup (thanks mate) just thought i would post some pics as people seemed unsure if they would fit on an auto, or if they could be cut i didnt want to keep the gear indicators as i dont see the point in them, i also didnt want to cut the dials up that high, i cut it just above the OD/MANU lights (imo you need to be able see if they are on or off) with a nice sharp blade and a metal ruler, took some very carefull measuring but im happy with the results
jason m
they look cool mate - how much ?
Aerotop Dave
I notice the o/d light and manu light are in different places to mine - is this something you can have done as part of the replacement dial (ie, choose where you want these lights to go)? Nice font - they look great!
lovatt
they were £85 inc P&P, mine are the last set to be made for the supra by this company but i think paul e is going to be making some soon, they are so easy to fit and the main thing is you dont have to remove the needles you can even change the shade and brightness with a little button that sticks to the dash. i also have the blue LED dash fitted (thanks emin ) and this goes a treat with these dials, my OD and MANU lights are in the original position and have not been touched
JamesArup
Cool ... those do actually work really well don't they . Look schweet with the boost(?) guage too! Given the results there, I guess a bit of careful work with a Stanley knife could also make the slot for people who want the gear indicator displayed as well. If there is enough interest (I guess 5 or more people), I might be able to get another batch made up? Cheers, J p.s. I thought your TV screen was knackered ... looks ok!! My 'o/d off' light is over on the right hand side, in the fuel/temp gauge bit I think. I thought it might be a facelift thingy, but we're both driving pre-facelifts. Anyone...? SkyJawa
Nope - O/D off is in the rev counter and below the gear numbers alongside the manu light. By the fuel gauge is Trac Off.....
Aerotop Dave
oh... yes, the trac off is over to the right. Once again I make a t*t of myself on the board!
