R3DG3CKO ROB
Can't beat PC's for gaming performance - All the huge games are best on PC - Halflife2, BF2, FarCry all need to be run on high PC specs to get the best performance. supra-lover
if the ps3 is not going to be as good as the 360 why has it taken so long for them to release it??sony clearly know what they have to do to better the 360 and they will,ps3 is 3 times as powerful as the 360!!!! R3DG3CKO ROB
Same release date you say ehh..... Well that does give me something to think about... Nah.... It'd cost me too much to remove the Sony logo tatoo
Bobbeh
The 360 is weak, it was released early purely to get the jump on Sony... and the first games out on it showed its weaknesses. For example, seeing Call of Duty massively slow down in battle sequences - not impressive.

Bobbeh
C64 was a classic TBH not many new games do it for me anymore, the olders one had the gameplay that made them great, new games look the part but dont reward like the older gen of games did Pinball dreams/fantasies on the Amiga 1200, that was simple but quality
poot
the early games were rushed quick ports from pc games. Now the great games natively designed for the system are starting to appear - Mass Effect, Gears of War, Assassins Creed, Call of Duty 3, Bioshock... Bobbeh
the early games were rushed quick ports from pc games. Considering the console was being touted as more powerful and should be quicker than the normal PC as theres no major OS hogging all the resources, and even shares a lot of the hardware back then to the average well spec'd machine, you cant use that as an excuse. Its still a decent console dont get me wrong, but it didnt blow me away at all.

Its still a decent console dont get me wrong, but it didnt blow me away at all. The 360 is more powerfull than most PC's but they've got a totally different hardware setup. 3 Dual core processors. If you don't program it right, it's very very slow! They games were rushed out, as microsoft released the 360 a lot sooner than originally planned. poot
I just think people will be a bit disappointed when they see the PS3 when its released and realise that the games look no different to the 360!
