DArby
Can someone give me the Toyota part numbers for UK Spec brakes - front & rear, just picked them up from the local Toyota Garage, together with Lexus sets, one set looks suspisiously small.... Dean..
Guest Supragirl
Dean, Just had a look on the CD...now I think I have got this right.. Front pads only 04465-14080 Rear pads only 04466-30030 If they differ to what you have got, perhaps Phil or Martin could confirm the above codes. DArby
With the greatest respect M (is it ok to abbreviate your name without getting in trouble around here ) I hope you're wrong, as i've not got any of those numbers on my invoice.... They start 04466 & 04465 but end 30050 & 14040 Dean..
Guest Supragirl
Dean the code 04466 14040 is the same as in the great uk brake buy but I believe that the other code was 04465 14150 Martin will be back soon, I will get him to check the numbers for you. And yes Dean you can abbreviate my name to M or Em
Guest Supragirl
found out why my codes where different.....I seemed to be using the JAP side of the system Dean would you like a free EPCD? UK version of course.. I have a spare copy here that you can have if you want. Just let me know Em
DArby
M. Oh yes please, that would be great. I'll mail you my address. Thanks Dean.
Guest Martin F
Well the EPCD is not actually too helpful here, as it doesn't seem to list an exact part number for just the brake pad. But what i do have is :- Front Brake Pad & Shim Kit 04491-14331 Pad Only 04465 - XXXXX Rear Brakes Pad & Shim Kit 04492-14161 Pad Only 04466 - XXXXX Best thing would be if somebody has a receipt for a set from Toyota. Maybe we should add this info to the site somehow.
Guest Martin F
According to Toyotaguys in the US part numbers are :- Front - 04465-14150 Rear - 04466-14040

Phil Wall
If you put it on the back of the pads it is said to help reduce squeal. If you put it on the front of the pads you don't stop (sorry).
