Daston
Hi guys After I go NA-T I will have around £500 left over that I was planning to use to buy my other half a cheap min. The plan being whilst she starts to leard to drive I can do it up and restore it. Any body got anything kicking about?
Guest electricmini
Hi Daston, Are you still after a Mini? I've got a 1973 Mini pickup here, which has been converted to electric. However I'm thinking of pulling all the electric stuff out, and putting the 1275 engine back in. No big holes or anything nasty done to the shell, so should be easy to do. The bodywork's sound, paintwork is a bit rough. ( I welded in loads of new panels about 5 years ago) It is a genuine Mini pickup - rare as rocking horse do-do! I'm just about to get it MOT'd again, so it'll be road-legal in a couple of weeks (need to change the rear shocks) Interested? Richard (electricmini) PS I tried sending you a PM, but your storage quota is full. You need to delete some of your old PM's mate.... :-)

Guest electricmini
Well, I do have a "normal" one here as well, a 1992 SPI Cooper, with big Webasto sunroof and 85 BHP "Grand Prix" engine conversion from John Coopers, together with full black leather seats & wood trim.... But it's totally stripped at the moment, and yer not having it for 500 quid! It's been sitting in my garage for 5 years waiting for me to finish welding it - already got new front end on it, just need to do the sills. Unfortunately the house, electric pickup and various Mk3 Supe's all got in the way, and demanded my time..... If you want a project car, this Mini would be nice, but I'd need to get quite a bit more for it. It'll also take a lot of wrenching to put it all back together ( I still have all the parts ) I know, I have too many cars. And I want a Mk4 Supe as well....
