Guest supratuning Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 Hi, newbie here will buy a supra NA soon after selling my R32 but a few questions 1. has anyone got pictures of a facelift and a none facelift supra because i cant really see any difference. are the headlights differently shaped. 2. what is the MPG on the NA supra manual 3. how is the reliability like, what should i look out for when i go to buy one thanks. Nic Posted September 3, 2006 Share Posted September 3, 2006 As said already the early model and facelift Supras have different dashes, 3 gauges on the early model and 5 gauges on the facelift. This is one of the best ways to tell the difference, as many of the early Supras have the facelift lights fitted. There is only 1 extra guage on the facelift TT which is a boost gauge, it's pretty crap though. Side lights inside headlights. Indicators orange. Orange side markers mounted on front wings. Black surround to rear lights. No rear reflector. Facelift Supra Cross member on centre of bumper. Dark grey inner on headlights. Indicators/side lights together in clear housing. Side markers mounted on front bumper. Dark Grey surround to rear lights. Rear reflector. Do not use these differences to determine whether a Supra is early or facelift though as many owners upgrade to facelift headlights and indicators, etc. As said best way is to check the number of gauges on the dash. ps. Didn't fully understand everything but it seems the UK has an extra G type sensor and so does the RZ, but the RZ is still mising something the UK has.
