If it was a normal gatso camera on the other side of the road, then no you haven't been caught. IIRC it will be discarded as a faulty reading.

 

I'm glad because i already have free points and i certainly don't need another 3 what with my lorry driving and all that,,i was looking rite at it when it went off thinking look at that bastard thing and low and behold it flashed at me ha ha ha

Only pulling your leg. Seriously though, there have been one or two documented cases where drivers have been prosecuted where a gatso has been triggered by a veh travelling towards it. They can still work out what speed you are doing as the camera flashes at a fixed time apart and the markings on the road would still be visible. Gatsos have a very wide range of view hence roadside cameras on 3 lane carriageways, but in my opinion you wont have been done.

anyone been caught and requested the pictures see the car and a mug shot of yourself i might get one of these done :)

 

My mate from work did that when he got caught off the cam outside work. When he got the pic you could have told the time off his watch it was that clear! :rolleyes:
