supra-lover Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 have i been done or has anyone els had this??? it was a totally standard speed camera, road markings on the lane it was pointing at, i came up to it i.e the camera strate ahead of me and it went off twice????really pissed me off coz i don't no if I've been done or not???? Seriously though, there have been one or two documented cases where drivers have been prosecuted where a gatso has been triggered by a veh travelling towards it. They can still work out what speed you are doing as the camera flashes at a fixed time apart and the markings on the road would still be visible. Suprasteve Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 i was told they have to destroy the face on picture as they don't want to be responsible for any matrimonial problems. i.e. if you had your lover in the car when the pic was taken and then pic was sent to house with the fixed penalty notice, the wife may not be too happy.
