Rogue
I went to school with Chris Kirkland former liverpool goal keeper now on long loan to Wigan. Went through my whole schooling life with him in at least one of my classes. We used to chat quite a bit. Genuinely nice guy, I always knew he would make something of himself. Tom
I went to school with this girl, Jacqui Ainsley, she dated darius for a bit after being in his first video colourblind(ever seen it?, the one where she get's all wet?), she did the opening dance bit for a bond movie and has been in a lynx advert(she's the one with the nips when someone turns the radio on,lol) and some others. I still see her around sometimes. awesome I found some more pics and vid:p http://www.premiermodelmanagement.com/ViewByTalent.aspx?TtId=
Soop Dogg
I was at school and the local swmming club with Eddie Irvine, the ex-F1 driver. Better not say what he was like then as I don't know if anyone here might have connections with him! (But if you do, tell him to get in touch!!) Soop Dogg
Oh - and I was at a party with a mate one night years ago and one of his mates brought his girlfriend who turned out to be Karen Keating. (RIP, bless her) She was a really nice, unaffected girl too.
Angie
I was at a party and met Nicolas Lyndurst and Dennis Waterman. (The latter put his hand on my bum and came this close > I once met Terry Gilliam (Monty Python) when he came to watch a theatre production I had co-written and performed in. I beat Justin Bell (racing driver) in a driving competition when he was driving for some race team in a white Dodge Viper. (Oreca?) He was gutted!! (But nice about it all the same)

What does he do now?(that reminds me of the 1st time this thread was done, doh!) infact what do all the people that leave hollyoaks do afterwards, only a few seem to have gone on to other things. Mike
Lo-Fi's were quality!!! "Battleflag" and "The All The All" remain 2 of my favourite tracks ever. Saw them at Reading Festival in 1998. Top notch! I was in that tent! that was the Reading me and my mate got VIP tickets... we got to go back stage and quaff beer with indie royalty... That was the best year ever.. we got clean showers, clean toilets.. the bar 'back stage' was always full of famous people.. had the best time...and.. I've never been back as a normal person.. as I did for the six year previous to that... how snobby did that experience make me..?? We've only done 'days' since then... the toilets are horrific though... or used to be? I've seen LoFi's every time I can (about five times I think) and they're always wicked.. when they came to Pompey they (hopefully being ironic) 'dedicated' Dark is Easy to us... and we loved it! bit cheesy though... Next year I'm definitely going back to Reading...

Snooze
That was the best year ever.. we got clean showers, clean toilets.. how snobby did that experience make me..?? We've only done 'days' since then... Next year I'm definitely going back to Reading... Wow - so you wouldn't even had to have taken your own toilet roll - nice! I used to love Reading festival - it always had the best lineup of all the festivals IMO, but as I listen to less and less music, the lineups are looking less interesting to me, and as Reading is mostly just about the music, I probably won't be planning to go again any time soon...... the smell of a line of upside-down, burning portaloos still haunts me to this day!! But some of the late 90's, early 00's festivals I have some fantastic memories of..... unfortunately missed the Lo-Fi's the next time they were there, tho'

SuperSupra
Lets see: My mum used to date Kevin Keegan, before she dumped him as he was cheating on her with the woman he's still married to! My cousin dated the lead singer of Embrace for about 5 years, nice bloke too. Another cousin dated Mark Webber (ex-guitarist of Pulp) and then Stuart Lee (comedian) Sean Hughes is a close friend of my brothers and also my cousins My grandad is best pals with Noel White one of the Liverpool fc directors My dad used to work with Graham Hyde's dad (used to play for Sheff Wed) My mother's sister Sue Quin sang the main female vocals on the remake of 'Kung Fu Fighting' that was released a few years back. And her daughter (another cousin!) sung the main vocals on 'Hungry Eyes' that was released a couple of years ago. Oh, and she's the same girl who played Karen in Grange Hill for a few years. Think she's still in it sometimes but she's kinda left school in it now. Hmmmmm think that's it!

Lambo
My cousin recently qualified as a specialist wig / facial hair artist. Last time I saw her she showed me loads of pictures of all the actors shes met over the last few months on the film sets / theatres where she works. The best one was of her sat with Robbie Coltrane after she had finished making and fitting his fake beard for his role as Hagrid in Harry Potter! Cheers, Mark

Thorin
My dad used to be mates with Emlin Hughes (RIP ) years ago when he was at Rotherham United. I played a couple of games ten pin bowling at Cleethorpes with him and my dad when we bumped into him once. Lovely man. Mates uncle used to be John Parrot's manager. Met all of the Beautiful South once and seen Paul Heaton out and about in Hull a few times. Used to see Roland Gift regularly in my local Jacksons and say hello, he used to live on the same road as mates of mine when I was at Uni. Had a drink briefly with "Paul the weatherman" from Calendar in Three John Scotts pub in Hull. His dodgy taste in jackets and ties on the telly isn't just a gimmick, he really does dress like that in public. A mates dad (sadly passed away now) used to be good mates with Patrick Stewart. Had my picture taken YEARS ago with Henry Cooper. Saw that Anthony(?) in a pub in Leeds who was on Big Brother a couple of years ago? That 70's dancer guy. Also Narinda (spelling?) from a previous big brother sat opposite me on a train once talking to other ex-house mates on the phone about meeting up. Can't think of any others at the moment. GLENN STONEHAM
Back in the 1970"s (before some of you were born) I went out for 4 yrs with the daughter of a british & european champion boxer called Joe Lucy.He had a big pub in the east end of london. Her cousin Glen Murphy plays a fireman in Londons Burning & we often used to meet up socially & at family get togethers. He & his Dad used to box as well. Oh , just remembered I got a lift from Roger Daltry lead singer of The Who when hitch hiking from Bristol to London when at college .Think the car was a Lambo or Ferrari it was a long time ago. Also kissed Sade (lovely dark singer with distinctive style) at a party just before her career took off. Would love to meet up with her now;she"s classy. Mike
Just thought of another one... my Uncle got Roy 'Chubby' Brown his first gig at the Priory club in Middlesbrough in the late 60's.. He used to play drums with a band, and tell jokes between the songs.. not with any of that nasty 'blue' language he uses these days.. even my Mam saw him back then and thought he was funny.. she couldn't watch him now.. He's still mates with my Dad.. sometimes when I'm at home, if I go shopping with the folks we bump into him in Morrison's.. he chats to my dad, but as soon as I turn up he goes into 'full blown act'... much to the amusement of passers by... I think he's well past his sell by date now, but funny in a Boro way...

michael
He lives out near my old neck of the woods I think... Chop Gate (prononced 'chop-yat', for some reason)... No idea where he is now but at the time he'd just moved into a house near Skipton, he was hanging some large heavy pictures and wanted to purchase some heavy duty fixings and a drill, I ended up helping him for 45 minutes or so without actually knowing who it was Nice chap though.
