JamieP
Sabrina i think the reason you like the stock look now is because i keep saying about making mine a sleeper I'd like the Top Secret one on mine but i can't coz Jamie's got it Dont bother me mate... go for it:)
Shilakadaddy
I'm surprised at how many people have agreed that they prefer the stock body to a bodykit, considering how many supras here in the UK actually have full kits on them. I personally hate bodykits, they never seem to flow right with the rest of the car, and you can always tell that its been 'added'. The only kit I would ever consider is a wide body kit, but even then, I'm yet to see a wide body front bumper that I like IMO the best look for any car, is stock body (maybe with some subtle changes, but nothing drastic to the shape) a set of wide/low offset wheels and very low
terribleturner
Dont bother me mate... go for it:) Well see i can't because when i leave you in my dust people will assume they are the same and that obviously Black is faster
imi
What do you think? looks boring and a bit SAD (as in pulling a long face) I am a fan of subtle bodykits, personally I think a nice aftermarket bonnet, OEM side skirts and the active spoiler lowered finish the car off nicely. I am not a fan of more agressive bodykits.
SupraAyf
Bodykits for me Sir! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_cool.gif I think there needs to be a balance when styling your Supe. I am not a keen lover on the stock body but my cars styling is quite discreet and personally; I never wanted to stand out totally from the rest of the crowd. (I don't know if that comment is total bull-shit with me owning a red Supe with gold 18" alloys!!!!!!!!!). As someone has previously mentioned, some kits can make the car a little dated (like the Veilside) but the issue of poorly fitted kits seems to be quite an apparent problem for some. I reckon that if you're going to have a Supe then it at least deserves a good fitted kit to match its smooth curves and personality (if a car can have a personality that is). I went to a 'meet' recently and there were a good few stock cars that had been equipped with a good set of alloys and that seemed to do the trick and made all of the difference! They looked really quite smart indeed! With all that said, I don't think you can ever beat a Supe with rear spats; nice side skirts; a TRD wing and an unobtrusive front end IMHO! Yup, That's the look i am going for, IMO you can't beat it (but that is just my opinion) Take Rays car for example, it's only got a few subtle body mods and it's made it look soo good:)

Charlotte
I love the standard look because it's as far from 'standard' as a car could be IMO. But I love the Ridox kit on Jake's car. Hmmm tricky one. I think you're right Sab, it depends on the colour too. Black supes look fantastic stock.

Stonkin
Just read this thread and then went outside for a ciggy. I normally park out the back to avoid people parking near me, but today its right out the front of the building and looking very shiny Couple of guys i was standing with commented on how good it looks for a 10 yr old car and another asked if i was planning on a big body kit for it. The truth is, i'm not at all, the only thing i want to do is add a lip to the front bumper. When you have OEM skirts and spats they sit far lower than the front bumper does, and it just looks like its missing something, hence why when the front spoiler is down it looks so much better, i want it to have this look all the time. The only other thing i would do is change the rear spoiler or remove it completely. Once thats done all it needs is to be kept looking as shiny as possible Any other money will be spent on improving performance, brakes, blinging the engine bay more and also the interior. In my opinion, the supra is a very special car, that can look its best when kept simple, but that doesnt mean i cant appreciate other peoples cars with wild bodykits. IDO
When i got mine it was as standard as the day it rolled out the showroom.. and i thought "look at that... perfect.. why change it".. Saying that i now have the below kit somewhere on a ship from japan (and have had a few other things done in the last couple of years! how easy is it to change your mind!)... I liked this kit it due to it being subtle and just extending the stock lines a bit without being too agresive.. Hope for it to arrive and be fitted within the next 4-6 weeks.. RedM
I really wanted a kitted Supra before I got mine. Now I love the stock look and probably wouldn't have one fitted unless it was the Ridox kit. As for Veilside, anyone seen Dave222's car? I think it is, by far, the best Veilside Supra around. It just looks right, like it came from the factory.
