how_supra
Just browsing autotrader and I was shocked that I actually prefer the look of the standard supra compared to one that is bodykitted The picture below is blatently stolen from Autotrader, but it just looks so clean and simple, if thats the right word I don't remember thinking that in the past so I've done a complete 180 in a space of about a year. Must be an age thing. What do you think?
JamieP
Stock rocks:cool: I have a stock front bumper for mine now.
Faye
Love a nice standard looking Supe myself, mines even going back to standard 17s now - although thats because I can't find any wheels like to go over the new UK brakes. Quite possibly age, but I've not been the greatest fan of kits fullstop.
Class One
Kits are very much of the moment. For example look at opinions towards Veilside kits now. In a couple of years time no doubt people with think the same of the Do-luck kits etc.

Kip
Mines standard and thats the way it will stay, nothing against body kits, I just prefer the way they were designed to be and look - bit of a purist really.

Animal
I spent ages when I first got my Supe looking at the various bodykits available and, although they can look very good with a well fitted kit, I came to the conclusion that I prefer the stock shape. I fell in love with Supras in '94/'95 for the way they looked and that was stock. Saying that, if anybody has a Top Secret Widebody kit they dont want...... Muffleman
I too like the stock shape, but it does need a little lowering and a decent set of wheels. The plan for my work supra is just that, plus bpu but with a sensible exhaust Oh, and the oem skirts\spats if I can get a set at a sensible price. Lovely (Might get Whifbitz copies )

Muffleman
I mean how good does this look ! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=76525&highlight=silver Tint the front indicators and lose the dildos and - voila
how_supra
It sits so nicely I think thats what I like about it
Ewen
I'm hopeless...I have a shortlist of body bits and wheels listed in order of favorite. It changes almost daily, cant settle on owt and usually find something I like more everytime I log on here....then again, I catch my Supra in a certain light, or angle and I think it looks just great as is. The Type R spoiler was going to go, then I started to like it then again I love Supras without (sans) any spoiler at all. Same with the colour... squiffy
i hate the front bumper, it looks way too small and under-styled compared to the rest of the car. Especially when it has oem skirts/spats. looks ok with some chin spoilers
Bobbeh
The Supras one of those cars that came like it already had a kit! with its lumps over the rear wheels and big wing, and the front active spolier when deployed. Kits are funny old things. They, like cars, look better/different in different colours, environments and with different wheels too. I think wheels make a bigger difference with regard to improvement on looks than kits do. Another issue with kits is that badly designed or fitted kits just make the car look worse.. and sadly there are a lot of examples out there that fall into this category imho. I disagree with Doug about the Do-Luck, its so much more subtle than the Veilside as it tends to keep faily stock lines, and its that lack of subtlety puts most people off Veilside stuff generally. But thats because Im a girl and its all about the colour.
Conrad
I'm definitely for bodykits tbh. I think a stock Sup is starting to look a little dated now (no offense to anybody that has the stock look). I'm not a huge fan of any of the aftermarket bumpers though but skirts and spats are an absolute must. The best overall look imo is OEM skirts and spats with a lip on a standard bumper. Which incidently, is what I have!

Pig
Stock all the way. I love the look of the modified ones, it just depends what look you want from your car. Mine is the un-molested look I do think that the cars need to be lowered though and i do sometimes struggle to keep my stock rims!
