SupraAyf
Just as an interest point guys but I have just returned from a quick trip to Copenhagen and I was mega surprised by the cost of the new cars over there. The Danish Government charges a 180% tax-rate on the purchase price of new cars and then adds VAT (@25%) to the original car price with its 180% uplift. Bloody Hell - expensive or what! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif Typical example: 1. New car costs £10,000. 2. (Cost of car) + (Car cost x 180%) = £28,000 3. Add VAT @ 25% to the total = £35,000 ...............................so a typical family car in Denmark costs between £35k - £45K I will never complain again about the costs for cars in the UK:blink:

SupraAyf
Penguin, not exactly certain about most of the jobs mate but if you have 'Manger' in your title then it is far greater than what it is in the UK. I should be back there in a few days so I'll have a quick chat with the boys to see how much they get.. Their pension system is absolutely superb by all accounts and the girls are tall; blonde and rather yummy indeed (a favourite point of mine). REAL YUMMY!! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif

SupraAyf
I observed 2 types of Danish chick though Jamie. The first is exactly as I mentioned before (tall, slim, young, beautiful and blonde); the other was the type of thing that used to pull coal trucks down the North East mines in the 1940's!! (The big Danish battleaxe-type) Which one's yours m8?? /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif Im marrid to one:cool:
csa
we make up the difference in petrol prices, car tax and insurance Oh and parking & speeding fines I'm Danish too, but live in Sweden (for obvious reasons = car/house/living expenses), and I don't quite think that you quite "make it up" ;-) 1 litre of petrol = 1£...any higher? tax of having a mid sized family car 1,8 engine = 300-400£ a year full insurance of a normal Golf 4 gti 150hp for a 22 year old bloke = in excess of 1.000£ a year (correct! Denmark is the world’s most expensive insurance country - and that’s a fact) parking...the regular 50£ no matter the offence. speeding...ohh don't even get me started! ...3 times you do more that 30% over the limit, and you licence is gone! ...btw...how about a nice old mk3 supra for the humle amount of 139K DKK (equals 12.600£): http://www.bilbasen.dk/biler/forhandlere/show.asp?id=542000122&page=1 or a nice mkiv NA for 11.600£ http://www.bilbasen.dk/biler/private/show.asp?id=920956&page=
