tbourner
Hi guys, So, before I go ahead and splash out on a tt, I need some quotes. Who are people insured with? Preferably some specialist import insurers! I need some numbers to ring!!
MR.B
I'm with the Privilege. They were by far the best quote that I was given. No worries about whether the car is an import or UK spec either.
Gordon F
Direct Line are worth a go. They seem to charge the same price for UK's and imports. Try an online quote.
splurge
Elephant. But you can't get a quote online for an import TT, you have to phone them up. You can't get a quote at all for a N/A, we think - they don't seem to acknowledge its existence. I'm 26, have full NCD, and am paying £800-odd for 10,000 miles per year with protected NCD. Tesco have also been highly recommended, but they wanted £1600 from me. Pot luck really, I guess. As always, the best advice is just to ring round lots of companies. Good luck! I was planning to update it when I finally get around to doing my Supra site.
