Guest scootmuldoon
Im still having problems with my heating. When i turn the fans on it usually blows cold and it doesnt matter if i turn the temperature up it just stays the same. Sometimes it blows hot and again if you turn the temperature up or down it does nothing. I took the dash to bits and had a look in behind but everything looks as it should with no loose connections or anything. I bought a new thermostat but have still to fit it as someone reckoned it was the control itself. please help!

Soonto_HAS_soop
Work your way through the attached document, you could just have a faulty valve somewhere that is keeping it cold rather than hot. Of course, you could of also had the heater matrix bypassed at some point if it had started to leak, then you won't get any hot air at all, untill you strip the dash and replace the matrix.AC_HEATER_SYSTEM_AUTO.PDF
Soonto_HAS_soop
Just reread your post and you say that it gets hot occasionally, so it won't be a bypassed heater matrix. As IMI says it could be a air lock in the cooling system too.
