jase_93tt
Hi All As I will be fitting wider front fenders and the veilside overfenders, I will need to change the rims to accommodate the extra width. Been looking at these ones: http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/racinghart_s10/6_photo/rh_s10_6_photo.jpg http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/racinghart_s10/4_spec/big/bronze_big.jpg I normally go for deep dish style rims, but these ones have caught my eyes Thinking of getting bronze colour to. jase_93tt
Just noticed the 2nd linky wasnt working, so updated it. The offset (F+R) is a couple of mm less than what I need to completely fill out the wider arches, but I reckon they will still look the danglies Cheers for your input ! Tom
Tbh I dont think they will as they dont even look nice on the skyline but wheels are all down to your own opinion.

jase_93tt
Been in a bit of a quandary over which rims to go for ..... Ive got the Racing Hart rims in transit from Japan:- http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/racinghart_s10/4_spec/big/bronze_big.jpg Racing Harts: Fronts = 18x8.5J +37 offset Rears = 18x9.5J +38 offset but have since seen this rims which will have a slightly better offset on the rears which will help fill out the veilside over fenders http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/index/xd9/view2.html Work Emotion: Fronts = 18x9J +43 offset Rears = 18x10J +38 offset I like both styles of rims, as well as the bronze colour as they will suit the colour scheme Im planning later in the year. The important part is filling the wider arches that will be going on soon. For the rears, I will be fitting veilside rear overfenders, same as the ones on Gamers car. From the photos Ive seen of his car, the wheels fill the arches perfectly. So Ive been using his rear wheel specs (18 x 10.5J +45offset) as the ideal spec to follow. If I went with the Racing Harts, the rears will retract in 6mm compared to Gamers, but if I went with the Work Emotion, the rears edge out by 1mm (hardly noticeable). For the fronts, over fender is 1cm wider than stock so Im going to need at best, 8.5J,+35offset on the fronts to fill them out properly, but cant get the exact offset in my chosen rim styles. Both the Racing Harts and the Work Emotions will give me the same outside edge, but 2mm less than my ideal offset, but probably hardly noticeable. The Work rims will be 12mm closer to the front suspension than the Racing Harts, but I guess that still leaves plenty of clearance to avoid any rubbing. I havnt used Gamers front wheel specs as an ideal as I understand the veilside front over fenders stick out wider than my overfenders. Im seriously thinking of getting both sets, just so that I can try them and see, and flog the alloys I dont need afterwards. Darn, its hard buying the right alloys.... as for me, they make or break the overall look of any car. No point having wide fenders on if the wheels are too far inside them. decisions, decisions...and more bleedin expense, lol Jase
