afennell
any idea if it will pass with no cats at all. or am i dreaming
Patrick_Devlin
I believe some people have got through with no cats. Its depends on your testing station, how hot your cats are when they are tested... You can virtually guarantee with one. Not sure if theres any 'friendly' testers around your area or not

LOL, just say it was about one cat yeah! Personally, I have to go to my local MOT tester for a number plate check (after I got pulled last night doing 70 in a 40 - no points though YAY!), gonna ask him about the import and non listed status of the car and see if I could blag my way through on the idle test loophole thingy. Will give response later. Ben..

afennell
good to know there is hope, seems a bit silly to make you fit a cat when your only going to take it off again after the test. are these dedicated test centres or garages that do repairs as well?
