Thieving B*******S

VIL

Recommended Posts

What a great morning I have had...woke up to find some **** got into my house and nicked about £2000 worth of kit while I was asleep upstairs! Laptops, PSP, TomTom, watch, wallet, cards etc

Luckily they did not find my car keys otherwise I would be minus one supra!

Police actually were brilliant and came round within an hour of me reporting it...top marks to them.

So just a friendly warning, if your supra is on show make sure you hide your keys and deadlock your doors.....otherwise some scummy **** will be trading your prized possessions for their next hit!

To be honest I thought I was always very secure, all double glazed etc

Apparently, even if you do have UPVC doors, unless you deadlock them they can get in!

I have been given a very expensive lesson today and would strongly recommend everyone review their security. I live on a very nice close and never throught it would happen to me....

Sorry to hear that VIL , hope they catch the thieving scum!

My parents had the same thing happen to them. The thief even went into their bedroom while they were sleeping and stole my dad's trousers, containing his wallet. They found the trousers in the front garden , minus the wallet and £250 cash.

To be honest I'm glad they didn't wake up , as you never know what may have happened.

Never caught the bastards that done it though.

Really sorry to hear this. Its one of the worst things to happen to you... the thought that some scum has been in your house & could have done anything. Hope you & yours are okay?

Sadly these things happen, and even worse unless you change your security it will probably happen again... just when you've had the payout from the insurance company & bought all new stuff. They (scum) know this and usaully make a return visit (which is easier as they know how to get in, the layout etc) and take it all again.

Best uprate your security & keep your valuables in a safe place... but leave out something easy to find just in case, something you don't mind losing like £50 cash, so they don't come into the bedroom & do you over??

Or get a Doberman... they're great. They don't bark, just sink their teeth into the b*****d when he puts a leg or arm through the door/window :eyebrows:

I'm hoping my 40Kg German Shepherd will put them off..... He's got very sharp teeth and his growl puts the wind up me, never mind billy burgler!

I think if they were really after your car they would have taken that too, they were probably taking all your bits and pieces to flogg off easier for drugs money.

Sorry to hear about your troubles though, its always distressing to have someone nosing around your bits and pieces.

Bloody hell not good mate. Hope their foreinsics people got a hit from the scene. Make sure that you ask for a follow up visit from the local Crime Prevention Officer. You MUST improve your security and do it ASAP.

Without sounding alarmist, most victims of burglary become repeat victims within 3-4 months after the initial offence, because chummy will know the layout of your house, and that most of the stuff nicked will have been replaced by insurance.

Don't delay.It's in your interests.

Cheers Guys

What is really strange is that he came upstairs and had a nose around.

How do I know it was a he? Well the cheeky F****** only took a slash in my loo and nicked the copy of FHM I had in there!!!

What the F***!

I'd laugh if I was not so pissed off!

I thought this but apparently as I had flushed the thing before I realised I had been done over they said that it was not worth doing?

They did test for fingerprints but said it looks like they were wearing gloves. If i ever find em they will be wearing F******* concrete boots as well! ;0)

LOL

Does not bare thinking about..... could have been worse I guess. Waking up to Mr Burglars 'floater'!

Strangely enough this is quite common... they must get quite excited & need to have a p*ss or dump. Its also a power trip thing......

One burglar even took a dump & hid it in the microwave of every house he broke into... wierdo :wtfsign:

Quite a distinctive MO!

OMG!

Pretty stupid as if he gets court they'll obviously know exactly which houses he's/she's done. Ah, that'd be the MO bit then.

just run off to check the microwave...phew no Mr Poo in there!!!

Thinking of getting some of those `sentinal guns` they had in Aliens that automatically fire at moving targets and flame throwers for around the front door. Although there dont seem to be any for sale on e-bay ???? ;0)

go round to your nearest 2nd hand shops ,cash converters,. cash generators etc

high chance some items have been sold at an outlet like these and name & address was taken as its policy.

you could catch them.

Top idea - that's the first place I would look too!

VIL - Sorry to hear your bad news mate; when you were sleeping as well -
