i-macca
One for the techie's amongst us, does anybody read his weekly antics? Sometimes they just crack me up.. Just been catching up and read Episode 23 - http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/07/14/bofh_2006_episode_23/ Had me in stitches at the end, very clever! i-macca
I had to read the end bit twice as well, they're cleverly written, but not easy to read through
Pete
There's no point in me reading it. It's just like a normal day in my life.

martin_a
Believe it or not i used to work with him. Anyone read it when it was part of Network Week around the late 1990s? The mag was bought by VNU who published Network News and shut down. As it happened Simon who writes BOFH had a contract with our editor not the magazine otherwise he'd be in Computing now and not on The Register. As a favour to our editor and because VNU put his mates out of work he promised not to write for them hence the column on The Reg. I was a reporter on Network Week at the time. Good bloke. likes a very hot curry and drinks a lot. Can you tell from reading BOFH? heh m.

martin_a
So you were what at the time? The PFY? Actually - as a trainee that isn't far from the truth. The character of the BOFH is based on our old IT manager from the building. m.

i-macca
Lol, I always wondered what PFY meant! Never could work it out I've got 3 here, they're not as smart as the PFY in BOFH though. I can be equally as evil though, especially to students
