Guest luke1983
Hi, I have just brought a toyota supra N/A 1994. on the speedo clock it says 110mph so I think it is restricted to 110mph, also it gets abit sticky around 80mph. can anyone tell me how to change the dials and derestrict it if it needs it. Also what dials to replace them with and what the top end is on a N/A. And how to sort it all out. If I add a set of dials which say 180mph do I have to change the a lot of things. Thanks luke. SimonB
Aha, the ultimate lazy bastard speed conversion - stick another dial on! You need to get a TRL DSC, which is an electronic gizmo that converts from KPH to MPH, removes the speed restrictor and doesn't mess up the other speed related things like the power steering. Have a look on www.trlperformance.com, there's instructions and everything there. Then you just need your original dial back on - if you're lucky it might be lurking underneath the new one they've put on.
