SupraHuman
We got the new 2007 modell Hareley Custom here at work.We are about to fit a velocity stack on it which means we have to remove the MAP sensor. How will this affect the bikes fueling? Will it run leaner or richer?Based on common Supra knowledge that is. Cheers folks. Regards CK P.S The bike runs sweet but the engine warning light is on.

bondango
Is it defo the MAP sensor? as this is usually mounted after the Throttle body(s) and not before. If its part of the intake tract leading to the filter or airbox then its usually the AIT (air intake temp sensor) I would keep it connected and tie it up out of the way. If you were to doisconnect the MAP sensor AFAIK you will run pig rich as it works on vacuum just (unlike Turbo MAP which use vacumm and pressure) so no vacuum will lead the ECU to think there is a lot air air being sucked into the engine.. Sorry dont know much about Harleys...
