As long as its not some poor inoccent chaps phone then i would have no problem in screwing over the biggest screwers in the business world; the network providers!!! Mate, the amount of money they scam each month from mobile phone contracts should be illegal!

Class One
As you know its not yours, you only have one option. Otherwise its theft. The choice, however is yours alone to make.

penguin
hehe - it means when the phone is reported missing/stolen - the imei (the serial number the networks use to identify the phone) will become black listed - so you wont be able to use it on any network anyway

penguin
but can i not get it unlocked ? seen a few on ebay and they are going for over £60 so hey that would pay for my rear discs nope - all the "unlocking" does is removes a local bar on the phone so you can use it on other networks as long as the phones legal
MarkTheBoy
but can i not get it unlocked ? seen a few on ebay and they are going for over £60 so hey that would pay for my rear discs 99% sure you can, its not legal but you can get it done. Im sure I saw a program on it a little while back. Google it and im sure you'll find something. Those guys on the market stalls know a lot more than people think, trouble is because it isn't legit and they don't wanna get caught doing it, a lot of them won't take the chance doing it for someone they don't know. Kittyclaws
if you try and sell the phone on Ebay, whilst at the same time the phone is reported missing etc, you will find the police at your door. Read about it a newspaper.. police are checking out mobile phone sales to catch muggers etc who sell the phones that they have just nicked
