adman
Decided to pop down to the local Tesco for some bits and bobs and as it's a nice night for a little drive... even decided to take the baffle out of my R*SR exhaust just to annoy the neighbours Anyways, I've had my car for about 4 weeks now and had a couple of 18 year old twats in Clio's and Punto's thinking they can outstrip me, but tonight I pulled up alongside a D-reg Ford Sierra Cosworth. After a couple of glances at each other the lights went green and we both pelted it off the line... I reckon I had him for the first 50 yards but then....... he was offski!! What kind of power are these things kicking out?? I don't think it was stock as I heard his turbo spool up (even over the noise of my exhaust!!) but christ and the preverbial bicycle, it was fast!! So I now want a big fat turbo... its a shame my bank manager wont put anymore 0's on the end of my credit limit.... What made it even more worse was the 10 year old passenger pointing and laughing at me....
MR.B
They're certainly not slow mate. Around 220bhp as standard I think - but most have been modded.

stupra
I had a 380 bhp cossie, an it was kin quick off the mark. Most cossies have been played about with, some have serious power, espesh the early RS500 versions.

Gazboy
220bhp 1200kg hatch vs a 220bhp 1450kg GT-car... I think the maths speak for themselves.
JohnA
In the year 2006, it is probably unlikely to find a cossie pushing out only 220bhp, don't you agree?

Scoboblio
No shame in losing to a Cosworth IMO Always liked the idea of a street sleeper or a well looked after Escort Cossie in dark blue
Sheefa
Cosworths are lovely motors mate. No shame in losing, of course if you had a TT it would of been a far different story.........or would it?
Paul_SWZ
One of my mates has a escort cossie and has a GO BABY button on his gear knob which increases his BHP from 350 to 440 and that is fast. He can do my zed off the line but once I get traction its close.
