boombastictiger
I had to cut the leather down the strip, and pull it off, the old leather is stuck to it the knob so u might want to smooth it down after before putting a new one on..
ChrisSZ
Stupid Q possibly but ............what's an E handbrake?
SimonB
E as in emergency. In Japan they always call it the E-brake, US too I think. And yes, stanley knife is the answer to how to remove the cover. .
Matti85
So you mean that i will have to cut the handbrake, and then what, whats under the lether cover that will make it losse ? Is that relly the only option, (to destroy the old brake handel) im nut sure if the one i bought from ebay relly fits, its 24mm i diameter. So if it wont fit then im stuck there without a handbrake. SimonB
The handbrake handle is metal with a rubber cover - that's the bit you have to cut off. The handle and gaitor is all one bit. Once you've cut it you can peel it off.

SimonB
Don't know, I think it will depend on how it clamps on to the actual handbrake. I think the only way to tell would be to try it unless anyone else has one. I've got a Momo one.
