TRD3000GT
the limit is supposed to be 100DB. I know this as I used to have a loud car thet was pulled by the police ( god they luv me ) I had a DB sound certificate that I shoved in their face and they then retract from ticket mode in to asking you even more stupid questions. They are such an smart bunch our force! So far last month. I saw one crash in to a curb with his sirens on doing 50 mph when it was sheet ice. He got out of the bent car and I explined what a prick I thought he was. Even in an emergency doing that speed in those conditions. I could not beleive what I was eeing when I saw it. What a NOB. There were lots of people there. think he thought he was extremely smart screaming past us outside a bar like that!
Darren
My cars decatted with a Nur and was in a garage last week that prepares Aston Martin race cars...They were laughing and saying how LOUD the Supra was! They said I'd get thrown out of a track day etc...Track days are 98db I think....

lust2luv
Originally posted by Barry I have a Blitz NUR specR, no cats, baffle removed from rear box and running in true twin. Its LOUD!.... Very! I have Nur-sized exhuast, no cats, 3 inch straight piping, no baffle or soundproofing in rear box and no turbos to quieten things down. Adam may have the mkiii title by the sounds of it, but I'm willing to challenge anyone to the mkiv title! Not that it's big or clever or anything... Adam W
My new setup is going to be really quiet and discrete so I can go out for early-morning weekend blasts without the neighbours killing me. But then when the wastegate opens it should add a bit of volume
MONKEYmark
i had mine tested at donnington track before they let you on. you had to hold revs at 4000 rpm then they put a probe up exhaust my blitz with no cats and cams and baffle out hit 104db the limit was something like 107db for track
