nismo_lp
Yup. Remember those shows on Discovery channel, they can strip, repaint a whole car in a week Oh how i love the discovery channel ... i guess they will want time to do smaller jobs inbetween ... i guess im in no real rush to get it back! As long as its before the Jap Finals in Oct.
Bobbeh
Better to let them have it a longer time and deliver it back to you in a good state, other than rushed and botched I guess theres a lot of work prepping, removing original paint etc, and making sure the panels are fine, and then getting onto paint which can be a lengthy process I'd imagine. Guest ims3ola
Did you get the insurance co to cough up for this?
_Rob_
mines in for a full hit...same colour. windows out, all bits off. he said at least two weeks at first. its been in two weeks tomorrow and theyre just starting priming. as mentioned earlier, id rather them take their time as opposed to rushing and bothching. its devastating seeing your pride and joy naked, no bumpers, trim, windows, paint looks like its straight from the scrappers! Basically, was it a total horror story?? or were they really easy to claim with? just a heads up really;) Really really good mate... very helpful from start to .... well where i am now. They let you use who ever you want, make suitable recommendations and they actually listened to me ... they were going to put it on a trailer to transport ... i recommended that they have some one come out to chance the tyres as it will be easier and cheaper for them ... they were happy to let me get on with it! They also just ring randomly to make sure im happy with the service and to see if im ok and understand everything! Would defo recommend using them so far but ... i havent got the car back yet so i maybe updating this post!

Kevin Huntley
2 to 3 weeks seam's the norm, although with my experience with bodyshops they tend to book way to much work in at any one time and it seams to be who ever "screams the loudest" gets there job done first. Always best to pay regular visits to keep an eye on progress and spot anything they may have missed. Kevin
