I've never actually 'seen' one but i have seen some na manual aero's advertised. Always thought it was a cock up by the dealer who didn't really know what they were on about.

I think there is a black one on ebay at the moment, whether it turns out to be the real thing is another matter.

Despite your protestations of the benefits of the northern climes my friend - you still aint got any 'UK spec' aero tops

They are just japanese manufactured aerotops that heve moved to the UK on a permanent basis!:p

I think mainland europe supra's were available as aerotops and were 'uk spec' ie had bonnet scoops and headlight washers etc ( not sure about the injectors steel turbo's?) , like Kuba's lefthand drive for those that remember.

Thats right Scooter, export spec (eg UK, US, Europe) were available as aerotops in europe and the US - left hand drive only......... Never came to the UK in export spec, which is funny since they made them for the others and still made RHD models for Japan......

All RHD aero TT's are GZ J-specs , no scoop no steel tubbys etc

Hmmmm,

How would anyone like a 6 speed aerotop then for about 4 grand? (Plus price of the car :D )

Now that I've got all the problems with my conversion sorted and it's now done about 2,500 miles, I may be offering to do this. All parts supplied by my good self. Would take approx. 3 weeks from start to finish. Like someone said, would be a damned rare car.

Any takers?

Tony
