garetheves
Having missed out on a second hand one in the For Sale section a few weeks ago by a matter of minutes, its really made me want one. However i dont really want to pay the £60 that they are new. Anyone know where i can pick one up a bit cheaper? Ebay only has the screw on ones. Anyone got one lying around that they dont want?? Long shot i know.
Steviekid
Ebay only has the screw on ones. It's really annoying how cheap these are compared to the ones that'll fit the MkIV isn't it!!!

Nic
I doubt they will be genuine TRD parts at that price. Do they look the same as the real TRD oil caps?

Guru
I think he's asking whether they are off TRD and thus genuine....to which the answer will be yes
Nic
I think he's asking whether they are off TRD and thus genuine....to which the answer will be yes Yes all the parts I sell are 100% genuine, the ONLY non-genuine part I sell is the replica TRD wing. Long shot i know. I've got a used gold coloured one that I bought from Nic a little while ago. Put it on the car for about a week and then removed it as it didn't look quite right in an otherwise standard engine bay! £35 delivered if you're interested. Sorry nic, my point was that I was offered the same price from an authorised TRD stockists here, so I was just meaning that you might not sell many at that rate with the wait on things getting over here. Didn't want to detract from you selling them though so hoped to word it in a way you would understand.
Nic
Okay understand now. The price includes postage to your door, they are in stock so would only take around 5 days to arrive.

ChrisSZ
I got mine off ebay - looks nice and fits a treat!! It's different from the genuine article in that the top is recessed rather than flat. It's actually just the top part - you have to remove the original bits and re-assemble using the new stuff. Very good quality and excellent instructions. Not a genuine one though:( but you'd have to know what a real one looks like to know:)
