ManwithSupra
I know this has been done to death but just looking on another post about fuel consumption I am getting between 220-250 miles on a full tank of petrol my car is half BPU is this ok or is my 02 sensor broken? I dont get any error codes and it dosent smell like it is running rich. Or would the car need a bit of tune up

Alex
Auto or Manual? Manual I'd say it was low, but you don't say what kind of traffic you're in. Auto that might be spot on?

Ewen
Assuming you put roughly 60 litres in when you fill up (soon after the red light comes on)..... 220 miles = approx 17mpg 250 miles = 19 mpg Not too bad if mainly commuting. Not good if your miles are mainly motorway. Assuming you run the tank nearly dry, and put in say 67 litres in when you fill...... 220 miles = approx 15mpg 250 miles = 17 mpg
