oil filter question

thats the same problem as i have :mad:

 

past 5 pm Mt T is closed, now looks like il have to use a crappy Fram filter?! £3?

 

is this Risky?

i used a halfords one and its been no problem,but others on the list didnt think it was a good idea,some said there oil went black straight away,mines still nice and clear,although im still gona get the toyota filter for when i do my next change:)

Personally the only filter i ever use is a Lexus LS400 one , even with the stock toyota filter the oil pressure does strange things lord knows what it does with a halfrauds one , still front seal replacement isnt that dear ;)
