Mike
I've searched.. lordy, have I searched.. and found many posts advising the Fuse box is in the driver side footwell on the left hand side, but I can't seem to find it...? I've pulled out the plastic on the right and nothing under there... pulled up the carpet.. no joy there either.. under the steering wheel I have; - The bonnet catch - The button for the alarm/immobiliser - A vent - Some kind of round port plug thing ..and that seems to be it..?! It's driving me mad.. I had a mate (who owns an FTO, similar set up apparently two fuse boxes, one in the engine bay etc.) helping look but we can't seem to find it... Any help would be most welcome.. - it's a late 96 Facelift auto N/A Thanks
Soonto_HAS_soop
Find the bonnet release, and then go further up towards the windscreen, will be a small black plastic cover, that's the fuse box. It is about 3" x 4" in size. It's right up under the dash, you have to get right into the footwell to find it, and take a torch....
Matt Harwood
Put your head on the accelerator pedal and look towards under the dash towards the a pillar.
Soonto_HAS_soop
Put your head on the accelerator pedal and look towards under the dash towards the a pillar. In order to do that, lift the steering wheel to the highest position and straddle the seat upside down whilst putting your back out. Get an assistant ready to help pull you back out again.
