Oil in Hoses

Recommended Posts

I have just changed my stock intercooler hoses for some Samco Hoses. When i changed the stock pipes i noticed a little smear of oil on the inside of the pipes.

The car is a 1994 J-Spec and seems to drive excellent with no problems such as excessive turbo noise or smoke etc. Is this common or is the oil a sign that my turbos are on their way out.

Like i said the oil amount was very small like a smear. I have'nt got the money to uprate my turbos yet and just spent £1000 on a CW SMIC, Heat shield and Intercooler/coolant hoses. If I have to buy new turbos aswell this month my missus will kill me.

thanks for the info regarding the hoses, does'nt seem that I have a problem then, thank God, the missus will be happy aswell. I will keep an eye on it though

Cheers

Sorry Leett, I have'nt got any pictures, did you want to see the hoses to see how bad the problem was or are you interested in getting some for your Supe
