SarahJon
Sky Insurance specialise in Supras and are endorsed by the club - they're usually pretty good. Admiral are usually ok too but Sky will give you like for like cover on mods etc with minimal hassle Don't think I'd pay anywhere near £5K on principle!! Tell him good luck anyway and great choice of car!

Homer
Age, ncb and postcode mean everything. From purely an insurance point of view the least expensive to most expensive are: 1) UK TT (Least expensive) 2) Jspec TT (normally doubleUKTT) 3) NA (Same as Jspec TT or more) We all know its madness, but that’s genuinely the way it is. However Supra insurance is still incredibly cheap compared to other similarly powered turbo'd cars. Just try getting a quote on a similar powered car like a Skyline GTR If he's below 25 then he should try Elephant/Admiral (god help him in a claim), A-plan Thatcham special schemes, Lancaster. Sky insurance are the club insurer but tend to only be competitive for the over 25's.
Lubas
sky were the only people to give me a real world quote. pretty much everyone else was £4-5 k. they quoted me £2000 tpft. i'm 21, no ncb and a dr10. doesnt seem a bad deal to me. oh...thats for a 95' sz manual
