Good point Michael, i wouldn't mind knowing this too.

Heres what dusty said about them, some good info here

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I generally recommend the 3-row to almost everyone. My reasons are as follows:

HKS Type S core dimensions are (inches) 23.62 x 12 x 2.6 = 737 cubic inches.

The Greddy 3-row core dimensions are 23.25 x 11.88 x 4 = 1105 cubic inches.

This means the 3-row is exactly 50% larger than the Type S.

The Type S comes with only 3 pipes, all of them dull looking steel. You still have to purchase the additional 2 pipes if you are on stock twins. This cost you $159 more. Also, the 2 additional pipes are polished aluminum which does not match the 3 pipes that are included with the Type S.

The 3-row includes all 5 pipes for the stock twins and all of them are beautifully polished.

The Type S does not come with the needed smaller overflow tank. I sell it separately for $48.

The 3-row includes this overflow tank.

The Type S is dull and needs polishing if you want it to look as nice as it possibly could (as well as the 3 included pipes as previously mentioned).

The entire 3-row kit is polished to a mirror finish, it is one of the absolute nicest polishing jobs I have ever seen on an off-the-shelf product. The core, end tanks, & piping are all gorgeous.

The Type S is rated to efficiently support 550hp. I'm fully aware that there are Supras making 700rwhp (and probably more) on the Type S. The key here is efficiently. If the customer would change out the 3-row they could pick up flow and power. The Type S uses 2.5" piping but the 3-row uses 3".

We sell the Type S for $997. You will need the $48 overflow tank and the $159 pipe kit. Your total will be (before shipping) $1204.

We sell the 3-row for $1424. It includes everything you need so your total (before shipping) is $1424.

For $220 more you can have an intercooler that is fully polished and 50% larger and all the pipes match under your hood.

With all of the above being said, the Type S will work fine on your stock twins. It is likely the 3-row will add very little, if any, additional power to your stock twins. So for you maybe the Type S is the way to go. But if it were my money I'd choose the 3-row on the fact that you might change your mind one day and want a single turbo and also because of the above stated advantages.

If I had a dollar for every Supra customer that said "I'm never going to upgrade..." and then they did, I'd be rich.

Gaz, what does the Blitz one include? Great price!

Is shipping extra?

The Blitz includes everything inc relocation tank and power steering cooler.

UK shipping is £15, but includes delivery to us and VAT etc.

The pipes aren't polished but I can have this done also, for £90 I think :)

As I said, its great value for money, especially from us :)

Best Regards,

Gaz.

Gaz, think I’ll pop up to chat about these at the weekend when I collect the rear lights from you. I’m stuck about which one to go for, Blitz may have a better reputation for quality but everyone recommends the Greddy.

Nothings ever easy lol

Blitz USA warranty Terry, with english instructions etc.

Were getting warehouse prices with our volume orders now so we can push down the prices while still making our normal (low)markup...

I'll be publishing a full new price list this month with revised prices for popular items.

Lots of people are buying from Japan and the US now personally, so hopefully I've showed that it is possible to get a bargain from the UK.

Have to say, the instructions that came with my Blitz were terrible. The pictures were photocopied, and you couldn't make them out at all. I used the Greddy instructions, they are pretty much the same apart from the location of the power steering cooler. Monkeymark has some photos on his website here.
