Jake
My Mrs' Freelander need the power steering fluid topping up. She has bought this: Halfords Automatic Transmission and Power Steering Fluid DII General Motors GM-6137M Suitable for use in automotive automatic transmission and power steering systems particularly for General Motors (Vauxhall) models and for the majority of other makes and models where a fluid meeting GM specification GM-6137M is required. It is not suitable for use in Ford vehicles or others specifying the use of a fluid meeting Ford specifications. Will that be alright? The Haynes manual for the Freelander says to use "automatic transmission fluid to Dextron IID or III specification" but Halfords only seem to stock the above GM type and the Ford type. Any ideas?
