Bill Prawn
12 days till my membership expires, should I stay or not? Not sure yet. Not sure the forum is a s good as it was or if I have the time to be on here. Maybe just feeling sad for myself as I've not had the car for most of the summer. I'll let you guys decide
SatSport
Erm, shouldn`t think you`ll have to remortgage the house to pay for it??! Decisions decisions
Steve
You have to stay mate. We need more Northamptonshire people on here Know what you mean though, the forum has changed alot recently.
Pixelfill
Tim, £10 more and you are a member for life. I hope you decide not to leave, the fewer veterans we have the less rich the forum will be. Mike
Gazboy
I'm not going to vote either way, but I probably won't renew my membership either. If I sell the Supra for something else entirely then I definitely won't renew.
MR.B
You got to stay bud - it's only a tenner.
Faye
Know how you feel, I had a similar dilemma earlier this year, wasn't selling the car, but felt things had changed significantly. I was backed into a corner by needing to send an urgent PM and was too lazy to clear down my received and send PMs. As for staying, well, what else would you do with your time? Class One
Tim, wouldn't be the same place without your Friday funny. However, I for one would entirely understand and respect you not renewing, the current climate in the club is not a positive one, and I expect you are not the only one feeling like either not renewing or leaving. That said, we need people like yourself and other to stick around and keep the place a great place and not letting it get run over by lesser thinking mortals. jamesmark
TBH it's your choice, do what you want.
terribleturner
TBH im not on here as much as i used to be as i don't feel the forum is the same as it used to be. As Doug says the climate on here is not a positive one and i think it's sad. Maybe get the extra year and see how you feel as you may just be missing your car to keep your enthusiasm up. Branners
You arent the only one who feels this place has changed. I put up this post earlier and I will make sure its enforced http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=78546 the forum has gone downhill recently and Im sure there will be some fallout from how I will be handling things on the forum but if thats what it takes to get a club spirit back then thats what I will do. RedM
Could we do anything to get the like of Ian C, Terry S, Matt Harwood, Migster etc to post more? When I joined I was like "wow, these guys really know what they are on about" and when they were here more often, it was like having your boss or a teacher in the room. I think their presence brings a lot to the forum. Does that make sense?

Charlotte
Ahhh don't go! It wouldn't be the same without you. I feel the same though. I know I don't add much technical content to the site but the atmosphere has really changed of late. I hope it doesn't stay that way. Homer
I vote for you to stay Hopefully JB's new rule will help put a stop to some of the sillyness thats gone on lately. Makes perfect sense mate. The loss of the Vortex lads from the forum has made a huge difference to the quality of advice going on, especially in technical. IMO its made the single biggest negative impact on the site. Its a real shame. There's only really Ian C and a couple of others that really know their stuff left to help on anything slightly complex (I am most definitely not one of them!) Ian C for one is a turbo genius and I would never have fixed my car or have any understanding of the sequential system without his posts and excellent website.
