If you've bypassed the EGBV VSV then pressure from the intake will continually leak back into the the non-pressurised side of the induction system and the actuator, and therefore valve, will never open. This means turbo 2 won't be prespooled and will go from seeing no gas flow to full flow every time it comes online (effectively being "shocked" into use). This isn't particularily good for it so you might be better running TTC (where the EGBV is irrelevant) until you get a new one.

D8MOA
TTC?? so just disconnect it? bloody good decription buy the way.thanks
Steviekid
TTC?? so just disconnect it? bloody good decription buy the way.thanks TTC is true twin conversion or "parallel". Leave the EGBV VSV bypassed as you have done and also bypass the EGCV and IACV VSVs. See here: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/ttc/ttc.htm. Both turbos will come online at the same time (although at much higher rpm) leaving the EGBV redundant.
Steviekid
You don't really need the check valves the guide goes on about btw, just change the hoses over. You'll need a longer one to bypass the EGCV though. And some ear plugs!
