Miles v Kilometres on the ODO

take the odo apart, and look at the legs across the top display section, you may find one has been cut and soldered to the pin next to it.
Cheers Matt. I'm converting it all back to kms at the moment, and assumed there was a jumper somewhere I hadn't found. Everything is going back to original settings except the speed limiter.

Here's an appeal to everybody who converts Jap imports. PLEASE don't cut wires right on the connecter plugs! I'm doing some pretty tight soldering on some VERY short wires!

I'm suprised you're advertising it on here !

How is that clocking a car then Jake , it is merely making it read the correct mileage as its now racking up in miles not KM's otherwise if you had 100,000kms on a car and it had a conversion i suppose you would want it to appear that it had done 100,000 miles i dont think so , its actually not illegal to allter a speedo at all but it is illegal to say that the mileage is genuine when it isnt !!!, its also not illegal to zero a speedo i thought being Judge Jake Dredd you would know that , by the way i only know of one place that does this due to the speedo style so if anyone wants the speedo alltered to the equivalent mileage as the KM's passed ill get it done (except for Jake , he doesnt care) if you want the car clocked find someone to do it yourself !!!:stupid:

:D PMSL ! Calm down love. I was taking the piss because you'd ballsed-up your Km to Miles conversion.

56,000 km i can get it alltered to read 32,000 miles
56,000 km is quite a lot more than 32,000 miles.

I've just worked it out, it's 34,796.78 miles

What? I can't make sense of what you're asking.

Taking the first part:

Is there anyway to tell if when an odo was converted from KM to miles
Not from the Odo itself. Some garages will issue a certificate stating what mileage it was converted from but obviously they'll only do this at the time of the conversion

Come on then Dude put your money down, I've taken more money off people speculating the end of Ducati's reign than Ladbrookes earns from the Grand National.

As for the new Blade - You need to understand Dude, that in some types of motorsport things need to go round corners too !! :)
