Paul R
Hi, I've now got an APEXi ITC in preperation for a nitrous kit. I'm going to fit the ITC soon and leave everything at '0' to retain normal timing. I'm wondering if it's worth getting the ITC set up on my car as it is now?? Will it give me any gains?? I have the following mods: RSR exhaust, Second cat removed, HKS FMIC K&N Induction HKS BOV. The car is running 0.9bar boost. Should I wait until I have the first cat removed and an FCD, running 1.2bar? Or should I just wait until I have fitted the nitrous kit? Cheers, Paul. dude
You need to find some det cans to set it up , it will prob give worthwhile gains ie better response at any stage of tune , its not the ideal way to run NOS though as it wont retard when you use the gas , you will have to retard it before using the nos and put it back after !! dude
You can use it to retard the timing for Nos , it would be fine at the strip but you would have to put it all back to non Nos settings to drive home , to switch when the Nos comes on etc you would need to go AEM or similar.
