Supra's and Spiders don't mix

yesterday, went to Tunbridge Wells and had windows down. all of a sudden this spider flies in the window, scares the life out of me.

i have a phobia of spiders, and just had visions of this thing crawling over me while driving. i couldn't find it either.

must have looked funny to others, driving along, scratching at various times for no reason.

this morning, got in the car, and it felt like i brushed a spider's web strand. not good.

car needs a clean, so will get it valeted tomorrow when it goes in to have wheel alignment and turbo's sorted

Like Phil Jupitus' stand-up routine about houses, I'm afraid you must scrap the supra and get another one.

I had one, running around the head lining, I thought I'd killed it but when I lowered the visor it dropped onto me. :run:

A girl my sis used to knock about with, smashed her car up because a spider crawled on her whilst she was driving. I took some wood an crap down the tip in my cossie once, an then the car was over run with spiders, poxy webs all over the place. :D

Ive got a wing mirror spider... little bugger, everytime I go out to the car he's repaired the massive web over the mirror.

Pressure washer will sort him out on sat :eyebrows:

Yeah I've got one of them, stupid little thing scares me into sweating rather than opening my window incase he creeps in!

Someone at work has spiders in the car after a trip with wood to the tip too. He sprayed something and it killed them, not sure what it was though.

I must have a million of the buggers all over my car where it's been sat on the drive for so long. They don't bother me but every time I get out from under the car I keep thinking I've collected a couple down my shirt or something. Spiders and ants.

Yeah I've got a mirror spider too. Pressure washer doesn't get them though, they hide right behind the glass. I spotted him a couple of times trying to poke his head out as we were doing 70, realising it was a bit windy and then scrabbling back behind the motor mechanism. There's an idea squish him by pivoting the mirror?? Thing is it takes me an age to get the mirror into the right position. I wouldn't want to throw it away on a spider!

Me too. Got him up to 100 leptons. Little thing was just a blur with the turbulence, then disappeared back into the mirror when I slowed down enough. Bet it were dizzy!

One made me jump yesterday though - absailed down from the air con vent above my desk at work. It got level with my eye about an inch away from my face before I saw it.
