Scoboblio
I hate the stock TC, I turn it off whenever I start the engine. It cuts in far too late and heavily anyway, leaving you with bugger all power long after you've given it too much anyway. If you need the stock TC to tell you you're using too much power then you need a bit more experience with the car

LeeT
Yeah I followed that routine as well. Then took the entire TC ECU out (cos I couldn't fit my FCD in! ). so if i remove the TC ECU (which i have), i do not need the Thor FCD??
mikeyb10supra
you sure? doesnt it allow a certain percentage of slip on either wheel before bringing it back with some trimming, - so it does let you break traction (on 1 wheel at least), well thats definately what it feels like! great mod for anyone that doesnt like hedges ...backwards! Yep pretty sure, I see what you mean though, I meant it will allow a certain amount but once the car is sliding and beyond the boundries of RLTC, there is no way for the RL to stop it, the car/driver has to sort itself out then
albundy68
Yep pretty sure, I see what you mean though, I meant it will allow a certain amount but once the car is sliding and beyond the boundries of RLTC, there is no way for the RL to stop it, the car/driver has to sort itself out then youre not beyond the boundries of the rltc untill youve lost traction on both rear wheels, (and by then youre fooked anyway! lol) have you been out in a rltc'd supe mikey? happy to take you out in mine, 20% slip setting round a sharp corner is what can only be described as 'arse nippin fun' lol
