Burna
Are there two types of spring setup on a J-spec? Really need someone who has a front J-spec spring lying about to measure the length for me and send me a photo so I can count the coils please. Thanks in advance

Burna
Ok here's the story. Last weekend Trick helped me change my suspension, well he did it and I passed him tools lol. Fitted new drop links, and new yellow billies with a set of J-spec springs I bought from a member. Changed the backs first and that’s when I had chance to compare the difference between the rear UK spring and the J-spec spring. the J-spec spring was about 10-15mm shorter with one less coil, just what I expected to see: A lower and stronger spring due to less coils, I was a happy chappy Came to do the front and again compared the springs, the spring J-Spec spring was exactly the same as my UK spring Same length and same number of coils, didn't think it was right but we had to carry on and get the job done so fitted the springs. The car has lowered slightly at the back with only a slight drop which is what I expected, but of course the front hasn't change I really don't think the front springs are right hence why I need a measured length of a J-spec spring and a photo to count the coils. If it is different I will need to get hold of another pair of front J-spec springs and strip the lot down and fit them before I take it to CW for alignment I don't want to spend money getting the alignment done until I know the setup is right. Someone must have an old front J-spec spring lying about after upgrading to coilovers or something and can help me please

Burna
Ok Max I've thing you've cracked it Thanks for your help The one on the left is the rear (same as what I fitted) and the one on the right is the front. Your front one has one less coil than my UK spring and is 20mm shorter. Looks as if I have bought a mixed pair of springs, bugger it You wouldn't by any chance have those springs for sale would you Max?
