Hi all, and hopefully Chris!

Anyone know if Chris has the capacity to clean injectors? I know he's the man for pretty much everything, just wondered if I should bring them to him on Monday for my cars service or not bother. They're 550 INJECTORS.

Think they're pretty new but need to be cleaned and flow tested. Is ultrasonic cleaning more expensive and can someone explain a little about it...............and what injectors do!!! A supra noob me is not surprisingly!

Cheers

Yep, he got mine cleaned and flow tested. He farms the job out to someone else (though he could do it himself with his teeth if he wanted to).

When's the wedding Pete?

;)

He'd love his animals more than me :(

That and he would spend more time at the pub and leave me at home on my own.

I'll just have to stick with Vicki I guess.

seriously - I did the sig thing seeing as several other people have done similar for other companies and I believe in the guys work.

Yes, I clean injectors, but I use someone elses machine, in return they use my TIG and other things. So I can happily sort them, but not while you wait, i do them in the evenings a few miles away. I am thinking of buying my own machine, but they are pretty expensive, especially new, and it would only JUST make finacial sense.

Ultrasonic cleaning is not as popular these days, it was used more on mechanical injectors. I can get this done, too, but solvent cleaning is reckoned to be superior these days, for most jobs.

Thanks Chris. Seeing as i've managed to track you down here, what's the plan for Monday - are you really busy or can you do the car within the day? I only ask so I can get a lift back if you need to keep it for longer.

If so and I can get the car back Monday evening should I send the injectors to you now to be cleaned and fitted, or if not just bring them along on Monday?

Cheers again Chris.

See you then.

Greg.
