My 1993 Black TT 6spd for sale

The car is no longer for sale!

Unfortunately I've been hit with an unexpectedly large tax bill so will have to sell my beloved Supra. I'm absolutely gutted to have to do this, but needs must.

Specs:

Jspec TT 6spd Manual

103k km (64k miles)

Imported by Miami-GT Oct 2003, bought by myself in Dec 2003

Clifford Cat1 alarm

Taxed & MOT'd until Dec 06

Private plate

Engine/Running gear:

  • Full BPU spec
  • Chris Wilson double decats
  • RSR catback exhaust (inc baffle)
  • 1.2bar restrictor ring (winter)
  • Bleed valve fitted yesterday (may remove this)
  • Thor Fuel cut defender
  • Thor speed delimiter
  • Greddy 3-row FMIC & polished pipe work
  • HKS SSQV
  • Aeromotive FPR
  • Denso IK22 plugs
  • Walbro GSS342 fuel pump
  • Southbend Kevlar clutch and uprated pressure plate (only 3k miles). Drives like stock
  • Torsen LSD as standard
  • B&M short shift
  • Chrome rad pipe, clamps, filler caps, etc

Suspension/Brakes:

  • Eibach springs
  • Optional Bilstein shocks
  • All suspension components in good condition
  • All discs replaced last year with stock Jap spec ones
  • Chris Wilson fast road pads
  • Braided brake lines
  • Motul 5.1 brake fluid

Exterior:

  • Fully resprayed in stock black last year
  • Toyota optional OEM side skirts
  • Veilside spats
  • Do-luck copy front bumper (meshed)
  • Facelift rear lights
  • Facelift indicators
  • 'Facelifted' front lights (Insides painted black)
  • Fully de-badged
  • 17in UK wheels and stock sized tyres (lots of tread left)

Interior:

  • Dashboard resprayed satin black
  • Greddy 60mm boost gauge with peak hold
  • AEM wideband gauge
  • OEM optional aluminium pedals
  • GZ model 4 spoke steering wheel
  • Gear gaitor replaced with new Italian leather one
  • JVC CD and MP3 player headunit
  • Focal Access rear speakers with stock UK ones in the front
  • Envy black mats
  • Genuine UK speedo clock face

All modifications were carried out in the UK. The cars runs and drives perfectly, has been regularly serviced and comes with receipts/bills for all work carried out in the UK (I expect over £10k worth). An oil and air filter service will be carried out at the end of this week (Stock paper air filter and Silkolene Pro S oil).

The car was recently dyno'd at 358rwhp (428bhp flywheel) at Surrey Rolling Road.

Now the bad part:

There is a puff of blue smoke sometimes at cold start up so the valve stems seals could do with replacing

One section of the drivers seat is worn, it looks a little untidy but is not ripped.

The front bumper is stone chipped, as are the rear spats in the wheel well area.

This is an extremely reluctant sale, until today I had swore I would never sell this car.

I'm gutted for you............ you can't sell it............. I still remember you were the first member we met at our first meet and you took us out in your car for a spin.

I can't believe it :(

I'm still trying to find a way round this, so if anyone wants to buy, snap it up now before I change my mind!!

I remember the Henley meet well, we we such newbies back then! :D

Thanks again for all your kind comments, they're much appreciated.

Regarding the asking price - this is priced to sell on short notice, I know I could sell or even part it out for considerably more, but want a quick sale.

I'm still finding receipts but already figured the car owes me in excess of £25k.

Plans for another in the near future if you're able Darryl?

Unfortunatly not. If it sells within the next couple of weeks then I doubt I will be able to buy another for some time to come (years). If I sell for £8k I have lost at least £17k in the mods/improvements made.

If I do not sell it in the next couple of weeks then I'll borrow money and keep tha car.
