Ian W
pretty equal power wise i think. the Supe will be heavier but the S3 is 4WD so i believe so it'll be pretty even i think.
Rickeh
They have either 210 or 225 bhp depending on which year it is, like the leon cupra R. Obviously 4WD means better off the line, but with less transmission loss I would imagine you should slowly pull away. Was an S3 as there is no such thing as an RS3. Yay first post

Rickeh
''But before the new £35,000 über-hatch lands here, Audi plans to unleash a milder S3 model running a naturally aspirated 280bhp version of the same 3.2-litre V6. Aimed at cars like the Ford Focus RS, Alfa Romeo 147 GTA and Volkswagen Golf R32, it will arrive in 2005 priced around £26,000, according to well-placed Audi sources.'' Well... the new S3 has JUST been announced in mid 2006 and will be expected to be released start of 2007 (not 2005) with a 2.0T 265PS engine (not 280bhp 3.2 V6) so that article was quite off the mark with their information and all the audi buffs seem to think there wont ever be an RS3. There certainly isn't one right now. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/news/default.asp?storyId=14654
