Greystoke
I bought this with the RLTC already wired to the Field Harness. This had never been plugged in. This is to be connected to a 96 Facelift non vvti. Looking at the wiring, it looks wired the wrong way for the injector cuts. Shouldn't these wires be at the topside of the block where I have marked in RED. http://www.itvault.com/supra/rltc1.jpg
Pete
They were onmy VVTi as per this thread. I don't have the non vvti pinouts here at work.
Ian C
Yup, you're right, it should be wired into those 6 pins. I suspect it's been wired into your ignition lines instead, judging by where those wires disappear... Hmmm. Not good. -Ian

Does it matter what order the injector cut on the RLTC is wired to the harness. Thanks.
Ian C
I'd say it does although I can't immediately recall why -Ian
Sean1933
Yep def fitted the wrong way. Im sure that it does not matter when fitting the injector wires which order you wire them in, sure this is what it says in the manual. It does not matter because each time it cuts the fuel due to slip it just does the next one in line. as to dispribute the stress of the cut across all 6 cylinders over time. Im finding it hard to put into words but im sure someone will correct me if im wrong!
Pete
I think it does matter as it cycles the injectors in order. The software maps are something like this : F = fire M = miss F F F F F M | F F F F F M | F F F F F M - slight cut F F M F F M | F F M F F M | F F M F F M - med cut F M F M F M | F M F M F M | F M F M F M - hard cut As these are in cylinder order that means you need to get the order correct n'est pas? Although firing order is something different again...Hmm, my head hurts.

I just thought that depending on the stregth of the cut depended on how many cylinders it cut, not specifically which cylinder. What i mean is: Slight Cut: 1 cylinder cut Med Cut : 2 cylinders cut Hard Cut : 3 cylinders cut Someone please put us out of our misery!!!
Greystoke
Is it the THROTTLE CONTROL ECU that has to be removed.
