Charlotte
You'll be fine, a big strong lad like yourself. It's like a small scratch, which you'll be used to seeing as you've got cats. The thing that always facinates me is the colour of the blood, I always expect it to be bright red but it's more of a dark purple colour.

Pete
It's weird as you feel the life being sucked out of you vein..that's if they can find you vein, sometimes they have to go hunting. You know they take the blood via a large syringe in your knob don't you?
jamesmark
I got blood taken 6 weeks ago 3 tiny tubes and I nearly passed out, thats never happened before i was really ill for 10 mins after, ususally its just when i give blood that sends me over the edge but not a blood test. i-macca
Well done Steve, thank god you'll never have to have an epidural. And hope to god that you never have to have a bone marrow test either, that's evil! I had to have a blood test every day for about 4 months, although I have to admit most of the time it was through a line and not a needle. Lots and lots of needles though and I got used to them. One of my mates used to have to lay on my hospital bed if he was in the room when it was being done though lol..
andrew7
I didn't realise you knew me personally? I didn't mean you.. Rephrase "A bit like when one has to takes one's wallet out"..... Doesn't sound the same tho...
