Well i was only up there for the sunday, didnt have my car though :(

Anyway the guys from Turbofit were there trying to break into the 10's, sadly they popped a drive shaft on the saturday (if i remember correctly) and on the sunday seemed to get a bad start and only posted a 12.something. Sounds awesome though. I have it one video so will post on the media section later.

Also say an awesome wide kitted gold supra, silver supra (N660 ***), and a black one (L* TRD).

Pics and vids to follow in the media section when i get home.

Gold Supra was ABSXXX of this site.

Greg on Sunday threw a rod when he went into second gear......another thing to mend ......never mind can't really expect anything else with the power he is running through stock internals......

Stock internals! Crazy Fool! (BA Brackas)

Awesome car though, cant wait to see it run in the 10's cause its obviously capable.

I am suprised at how slow the other sups were running, pretty much late 13s/early 14s! Is this normal or down to heat soak cause it was a hot as hell weekend!?

I was hoping for a slightly lower 13 in that heat (terminal was 109 I think), mind you, I hooked up a nice 60ft time on my last run so was disappointed not to beat my pb!

Sean thats not me matey :)

the NA cars were running good times, turbos seemed to be suffering alot.

I take it you were there on sunday? I thought i saw 2 black supras running, but assumed it was the same car and the waiting time was just not alot.

Did you turn up on the sunday and was in the entrance queue with some other supras, behind the trailered turbofit car? If so then i was in the Escort Cosworth infront of you. If not then this whole post was pointless!!!

Hopefully I can knock .8 of a second off my time. Hoping to get in the high high 12's. Would be happy with 12.999 lol

Things I think may help:

Colder day

Burnout before start

Lower tire pressure.

Practice.

I was behind the turbofit trailer as we entered santaod. I also noticed to what i believe a teal coloured supra in the queue also.

I remember you, had a lady friend with you?

We were in the queue next to you at the entrance gate, in a blue Escort Cossie. (Not my cuppa tea but goes like stink around corners!). Nice car mate!

with a bit of practise you should easily get into the 12's Gazza :)

(after all, you're putting a fair amount more power to the wheels than I am IIRC)

Good luck

Thanks, I think the reason why im not making the 12s yet is due to my start. Plus with me not boosting till around 3.5k its not a very quick take off. My go for some form of antilag or something.

I saw afew cossies on the M1 going down, I like them alot. Were you with them at all?

No we werent with them, they were all on the way back from FordFest from what ive heard. They are quite nice, but not exactly reliable. My mate has just replaced his headgasket and its only done like 50,000!!!

If you havent got RLTC i think should def get it. I have RLTC with launch control and its awesome. The Lauch control is really really good. I took my mate out in it the other night (the one with the 4wheel drive cossy) and used the LC and he crapped himself, said it was one of the quickest launches he has have known, and thats with my clutch slipping!!! It really is something pulling away with both tubbies on line and at full boost ready spooled!

Im going to use my g-meter and see what 1/4 mile times i can get with the launch control and a new clutch...should see 12s i reccon.
